We require Members who sign-up to use the Services (Services) offered on the ICIX website (website) to give us contact information, such as their name, company name, address, phone number, an e-mail address, and financial qualification, such as billing name, billing address, and credit card number. Members can update or remove their personal information at any time by logging into the website and editing their personal or company information.
This billing information is not used for marketing or promotional purposes. ICIX uses a third-party to manage the credit card processing. This third-party is not permitted to use the information provided, except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. Other third parties, such as content providers or our hosting service may provide services on the website but they are not permitted to collect any information and we do not share any Member information with these parties. Members can opt out of being contacted by us, or receiving company promotion and marketing events information at any time by sending an email to email@example.com. When setting up Services, we contact Members via email in order to issue a receipt and login details. From time to time, we may also email information regarding updates to the Service. Again, Members can opt out of receiving Service updates as well by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For purposes of Article 14(2) of the GDPR, ICIX relies on the following lawful basis for processing Personal Data: consent, compliance with law and legitimate interest.
